There are moments in Janelle Schiecke’s SPIDER which creeped-out this arachnophobe to the core. But that was always the intention, right?
When Jenna starts to experience tinnitus she passes it off as everything but what it might actually be. As she tries to keep her life on track, the escalating events build at a perfect pace and reach a terrifying conclusion. There are hints at a wider context which, if this was made into a movie (and I’d love that), there is a backstory that could also be explored. Something for a follow up maybe.
SPIDER is a fine dose of spine-tingling horror from Schiecke.
